Accessing individual program steps (service mode 1)
Enables the engineer to step through a selected program.
 
bulletEnsure door is closed
bulletRotate program selector to the ‘Stop’ position
bulletSwitch appliance ‘Off’
bulletPress & Hold the ‘Delay Start (-)’ & ‘Top Solo’ buttons simultaneously
bulletSwitch appliance ‘On’
bulletThe LCD displays “.” & the ‘Inlet/drain’ led will illuminate
bulletSelect the desired programme (program duration will be shown in LCD)
bulletPress the ‘Start’ button (the reverts to program step display)
bulletPress the ‘Start’ button to advance program manually
bulletIf the ‘Start’ button is not pressed then the program will continue to run automatically.
 
Accessing Test Mode
This test program automatically test all components of the appliance.
 
bulletEnsure door is closed
bulletRotate program selector to the ‘Stop’ position
bulletSwitch appliance ‘Off’
bulletPress & Hold the ‘Delay Start (-)’ & ‘Top Solo’ buttons simultaneously
bulletSwitch appliance ‘On’
bulletThe LCD displays “.” & the ‘Inlet/drain’ led will illuminate
bulletRotate program selector to ‘Position 11’ (Assume program dial is a clock face)
bulletPress the ‘Start’ button.

bulletSwitch appliance ‘Off’
bulletPress & Hold the ‘Start’ & ‘Top Solo’ buttons simultaneously

bulletPress ‘Top Solo’ button to toggle between available options
bulletPress the ‘Start’ button twice to save selected option then switch appliance ‘Off’.

bulletThe LCD displays ‘P00’ or ‘P01’ etc depending on the software version; the ‘Salt’ led will also flash
bulletPress ‘Top Solo’ button to toggle between available options
bulletPress the ‘Start’ button twice to save selected option then switch appliance ‘Off’.

Accessing Fault code display
 
Access service mode 2 selecting Position 1 with the program dial
 
LCD Display Fault
F00 No fault registered
F01 NTC or connections open circuit
F02 NTC or connections short circuit
F03 PCB fault, Selector switch position not recognised
F04 Heating circuit fault
F05 Drainage fault; Heater pressure switch
F06 Water intake fault, too few impulses at start of step
F07 Water intake fault, too few impulses at end of step
F08 Water intake fault, heater pressure switch did not switch on i.e. circulation pump
F09 Heater pressure switch reset at the end of thermostop steps ZT1, ZT2, ZT3 or ZT4
F10 No data transfer between the water softener sensor and EGPL 55x B
F11 No data transfer between the eco sensor and EGPL 55x B
 

To delete fault codes:

bulletPress the ‘Start’ button twice to save selected option then switch appliance ‘Off’
bulletFaults F01, F02, F04 & F09 are indicated by 3 dashes in the LCD at the end of the programme
bulletFaults F10 & F11 flash alternatively in the LCD
 
Note - all programmes can be used until the fault has been removed. For safety reasons the heater will not be switched on during a fault condition.
